Inspiring Future Leaders: ESGAM’s Engaging Talk & Judging at INTI International College Subang
What an incredible engagement at INTI International College Subang!

Our esteemed President, Professor Cheah Kok Hoong, and Vice President, Ms. Joyline Chai, delivered an insightful talk to students, covering the critical aspects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). Key discussions included:
1. The introduction of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their historical context, emphasizing how sustainability equates to survivability for businesses amidst evolving global policies.
2. The impact of recent policy changes, such as SST enforcement and fuel subsidies, highlighting the importance of understanding varied global policies for business sustenance.
3. Emphasizing daily ESG actions, from reducing plastic bottle usage and treating people ethically to fostering transparency and accountability in governance.
4. Highlighting critical environmental concerns like plastic pollution (8 million tonnes in oceans yearly) and the importance of rainforest protection in Malaysia, along with real-world examples of NGO efforts and scientific research in conservation.
It was also an honor to serve as judges for their “Pitch for Impact” Competition, witnessing innovative ESG-related business ideas from bright young minds!
A big thank you to Professor Hew Fui Mun, Dean of the School of Business & Communications at INTI International College Subang, and Ms. Leong Mie Shin (Natalie), Head of Programme cum Lecturer, for inviting us and for their warm hospitality. We are excited about future collaborations!
