ESGAM supports Shared Responsibility, Shared Future: Uniting Stakeholders to Co-Create a Greener Malaysia by MIM
The ESG Association of Malaysia (ESGAM) is pleased to highlight the success of the recent event organized by MIM in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Malaysia, held on July 10th. Special thanks to MIM for organizing and coordinating this event, and for having ESGAM as a supporting partner, bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders to foster a greener Malaysia.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to YB Nik Nazmi Bin Nik Ahmad, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, for his insightful keynote speech. YB Nik emphasized building climate-resilient communities, integrating ESG practices into corporate leadership, and highlighted sustainable urban planning initiatives and the challenges and opportunities for Malaysian SMEs in adopting green practices. Government efforts to protect natural resources and combat poaching were also highlighted, stressing the importance of community involvement.
